OBD2 or On-Board Diagnostics displays messages for basic group styles. More comprehensible code composition has been standard since 2000. The DTC code consists of five characters and its composition will be shown in this video

Insight into programming

The basic unit for the operation of any computer is the bit. Logic 0 and 1 are expressed by a single bit. Diagnostics The error code is composed of 16 bits. The first two bits define one of the four basic circuits. The video will show you a comprehensive overview of the composition of the error report

Cylinder Head Temperature Sensor 2 Circuit Range Performance

Cause of DTC

This DTC sets when the cylinder head temperature value is higher than the calibrated value and could prevent one or more on board diagnostic (OBD) monitors from completing. The PCM runs this logic after an engine off and a calibrated soak period (typically 6 hours). This soak period allows the intake air temperature and the cylinder head temperature to stabilize and not differ by greater than a calibrated value. This DTC sets when all of the following conditions are met:< p>The cylinder head temperature at engine start exceeds the intake air temperature at engine start by greater than a calibrated value, typically 17°C (30°F).< p>The cylinder head temperature exceeds a calibrated value, typically 107°C (225°F).< p>The fuel system, heated oxygen and misfire monitors have not completed.< p> The calibrated time to set this DTC has expired.
