Accelerator Pedal Position Sensor 1+2 Range Performance

Cause of DTC

Engine started, battery voltage at least 11.5v, all electrical components off, ground connections between engine and chassis well connected, the ECM detected that the accelerator pedal position sensor signal was too high. Note: Both the Throttle Position (TP) Sensor and Accelerator Pedal Position Sensor 2 are located at the accelerator pedal module and communicate the driver’s intentions to the ECM completely independently of each other. Both sensors are stored in one housing.
