See the basic definition of a diagnostic error. This will help you to clarify the main causes of the fault code. You will understand the program of the control unit
Basic DTC analysis according to OBD2 protocol standard.

OBD2 or On-Board Diagnostics displays messages for basic group styles. More comprehensible code composition has been standard since 2000. The DTC code consists of five characters and its composition will be shown in this video

Insight into programming

The basic unit for the operation of any computer is the bit. Logic 0 and 1 are expressed by a single bit. Diagnostics The error code is composed of 16 bits. The first two bits define one of the four basic circuits. The video will show you a comprehensive overview of the composition of the error report

Steering Wheel Angle Sensor Signal Implausible

Cause of DTC

Case 1 N-Signal Consistency N signal changing point must be specified position compared with last changing point. If the changing point differs more than 4degree, the failure is detected. - To avoid miss detection of failure, Changing point monitoring ignores the short term changing (less than 70ms). If N signal does not change more than 352 degree, failure is fixed. Case 2 Power-Supply-Short-Term-Defect Difference between measured steering-angle and expected-steering angle exceeds 6 degree. Too high velocity of steering-angle is measured. Expecting-steering-angle is made while power-supply state is out of range. Case 3 Signal Plausibility A failure is detected during steady-state straight ahead driving if one of the following conditions is true longer than 1.75s. 1. |longitudinal acceleration| gt;0.1g AND |difference| gt;3.0 2. -0.1g 6.0 3. -0.05g 9.0 - The difference : the difference between the reference signal and the steering angle sensor signal. - A steering angle reference signal is calculated from the wheel speeds, the lateral acceleration and the yaw rate to observe the steering wheel angle sensor. < longitudinal>< longitudinal>
