Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Range Performance

Cause of DTC

Stuck oil temperature sensor signal or unusual low or high signal. Condition 1 (signal high or low), engine coolant temperature more than 158 degrees F and oil temperature less than 68 degrees F. Condition 2 (signal high or low), engine coolant temperature less than 158 degrees F and oil temperature above 212 degrees F. Condition 3 (stuck signal) engine coolant temperature less than 104 degrees F.
