Basic DTC analysis according to OBD2 protocol standard.

OBD2 or On-Board Diagnostics displays messages for basic group styles. More comprehensible code composition has been standard since 2000. The DTC code consists of five characters and its composition will be shown in this video

Insight into programming

The basic unit for the operation of any computer is the bit. Logic 0 and 1 are expressed by a single bit. Diagnostics The error code is composed of 16 bits. The first two bits define one of the four basic circuits. The video will show you a comprehensive overview of the composition of the error report

Basic error definition

Wheel Sensor Right Rear. Faulty Signal

Cause of DTC

The brake control module (BCM) receives information about wheel speed from the wheel sensors. The wheel sensors, which are on the wheel mounting, read off a magnetic pulse wheel on the wheel spindle. Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) BCM-0010, BCM-0020, BCM-0030 or BCM-0040 is stored, depending on the wheel sensor, if the brake control module (BCM) registers that the signal from any wheel sensor is below 4.5 mA ± 10% or above 20 mA ± 10%. BCM-0010: Wheel sensor, left front BCM-0020: Wheel sensor, right front BCM-0030: Wheel sensor, left rear BCM-0040: Wheel sensor, right rear. The diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) can be diagnosed when the ignition is switched on.
