Basic error definition

Air Fuel Ratio (A F) Sensor (Sensor 1) Heater Circuit Malfunction

Cause of DTC

With the engine running and the engine temperature at least 69 degrees the following malfunctions are detected. Malfunction 1: The heater current is 0.8 A or less for at least 4 seconds while the heater is active, and the heater current is 0.8 A or more for at least 4 seconds while the heater is not active. Malfunction 2: The heater current is 15.2 A or more for at least 0.6 second. NOTE: Before you troubleshoot, record all freeze data and any on-board snapshot, and review the general troubleshooting information.
