Cause of DTC

The forward-aimed radar can compensate for horizontal distortion up to 2.5 degrees. The forward sensing module (FSM) checks information from the forward-aimed radar. The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the control module detects that: The forward-aimed radar is no longer correctly aimed straight ahead due to mechanical, lateral distortion. The control modules test for the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) starts in the event of: Control module supplied with power for at least 5 seconds. Speed higher than 50 km h (31 mph). Note! The control module can only detect the fault once the test has been started and the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored when the conditions are met.
